Well, friends, the time has finally come. I’ve thought about it many times, and mentioned it many times, but I’ve now decided to do it. I’m taking an indefinite break from blogging. In my almost 4 years of blogging , there has been catharsis, hilarity, and genuine connection. There has also been some controversy and some strange visits and some unfortunate encounters. I’ve learned a lot through all of it — I’ve learned about myself and others, and a lot about the truly bizarre nature of the internet. Overall I have really enjoyed it.

But really, I just don’t have it in me anymore — for several reasons.

Anyway, all that to say that I just think it’s time to say goodbye.

So, I thank you all for the time you’ve spent coming by here and hanging out with me, and I’ll remember the good times fondly. But at this point, I’m making a choice to improve my overall quality of life by taking a break… who knows for how long — maybe forever. At any rate, this is goodbye for now.

I hope you all are enjoying your winter, and your Holidays, and I wish you all a Happy, and Healthy New Year .

I have been receiving many e-mails asking me to reconsider my decision, but my mind is made up, so for those of you who have my e-mail address, please don't do that.

I want to thank all my loyal readers from the bottom of my heart. You have been great, each and every one of you. I feel I'm leaving some very dear friends, but sometimes one has to do what one has to do. Please take good care of yourselves. You're all special people and deserve nothing but the best.

EMTs reportedly respond to medical call at Tiger Woods home, transport "a" woman to the hospital

I have several copies of newspapers and videos in which they both stated that my client would be convicted and found guilty in their federal court.

I would like to have this case dismissed, on the grounds my client has already been condemned by the President of the United States and the US Attorney General, and he could never receive a fair and impartial trial from his peers in a federal court.

Any sharp defense attorney, and most certainly and especially the ACLU attorneys, will use the president prejudgment comments to throw the case out off court.

Rights? What rights? Why are these terrorists being given the same rights as Americans? They are not Americans, they are terrorists put them in front of a military tribunal.
One has to only wonder if we will also read him his Miranda rights? Are we to believe that the man who freed the FALN, and 2 weather underground terrorists, is somehow not going to set these vermin free, and this is somehow not a plan to do just that?

Is that how stupid he is, or how stupid he thinks WE are? So let me get this straight. Holder, another of Obama's socialist goons, grants all the rights afforded an American citizen to KSM. Then he and Obama assure us that no matter how the trial turns out, he will remain in custody, if not be executed. So my questions are, why have the trial at all, if you already know the verdict? I heard that he went to each of the families asking them if he could photograph their fallen loved one. And only one of them agreed.

Why would he want to desecrate the memory of these brave fallen heroes for a Photo-Op?
But they didn’t report that President Bush made numerous private visits to comfort families of fallen servicemen and women and wrote hundreds of "comfort letters." He would never have dreamed of committing what amounts to lacking in frankness, candor, or sincerity! Why? Because this is going to be part of his reason to hedge on the Generals request of 40,ooo more troops. This is going to add what he thinks is going to be reason to reinforce his Afghanistan strategy.
But you watch and see, this is going to BACKFIRE, big time! He must think this Photo Op will take the pressure off him to make a decision on BACKING our Troops in battle. Instead, he sends his “belle Michelle off to Yankee Stadium, and he plays golf, and they fly around the country and the world on their Saturday night dates for dinner in "His”Jet and fiddles while our Troops die.

Peter Gadiel the Father of a 9 11 victim wants everyone to remember his son, James, who was killed during the September 11 terrorist attacks. And he also wants people to remember how he died: "Murdered by Muslim terrorists."

A Long Island, New York woman is literally begging the Marines to grant her husband a leave from overseas duty while his premature daughter fights for her life in a hospital back home.

Madison Rose Wagenhauser weighs 2 pounds 11 ounces. The 17-day-old preemie lies in neonatal intensive care on a ventilator and in an incubator with her mom, Cristal, at her side. Her father, Marine Lance Corporal Keith Wagenhauser isn't there. He is deployed overseas and hasn't been able to get leave to come see his new struggling family.
But he has been denied the right to go home and to see his wife and baby girl, who was born prematurely and now clinging to life.

In my humble opinion, and as a citizen who’s tax dollars help finance the war in Iraq, and help to finance the nation’s presence in the Middle East. (Not that I’m against it) I am for it, but as a US citizen I DEMAND that Marine Lance Cpt. Keith Wagenhauser be granted a leave immediately to be with his Wife and his new prematurely born child. His leave was DENIED last week Here we have a brave young man who VOLUNTEERED to enter into harms way and put his life on the line for ou and his country.

I read a poll in my daily rag this morning (NEWSDAY) a poll showing Obama's poll numbers are low among the general population, but approval ratings in the African-American community are high, at 97%. Are you saying that because the general population (meaning mostly white people) have already lost faith in him after his being in office for only six months, the unusually high approval ratings within the black community somehow prove that blacks can be racists too?
It occurs to me that the extremely high poll numbers in the black community shows, not that they're somehow racist, but that the vast majority of African-Americans are genuinely proud of their President and are demonstrating a strong sense of solidarity with him, born of a deep faith that their time has, after a very long wait, finally come.

If I have misunderstood what they were trying to say, I apologize, but I can’t for the life of me see where I am wrong.

Maybe he should get a prize for hypocrisy or lack of spine.
This fiasco is so stupid that it make the Nobel Prize seem like it’s just another item on the supermarket checkout line: "Mama, I want a Nobel Peace Prize!" "Sure honey, here let's add it to our shopping cart, along with the Enquirer and a pack of gum. That’s about what the real value of that prize is worth now!

Besides, the nomination had to be submitted no later than February 1st.. So someone submitted his name earlier than 20 or so days into his administration? THAT makes sense! How can anyone win this thing 11 days into their administration?
The tragedy is that there are individuals who really do put their lives on the line, who have made strides toward peace in various parts of the world, whose efforts really have saved lives are denied this award. As a professor of Mechanical Engineering here at MSU, I intend to protest your protest.

I am offended, not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like beheadings of civilians, cowardly attacks on public buildings, suicide murders, murders of Catholic priests (the latest in Turkey), burnings of Christian churches, the continued persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt, the imposition of Sharia law on non-Muslims, the rapes of Scandinavian girls and women (called 'whores' in your culture), the murder of film directors in Holland, and the rioting and looting in Paris, France .

This is what offends me, a soft-spoken person and academic, and many, many of my colleagues. I counsel you dissatisfied, aggressive, brutal, and uncivilized slave-trading Moslems to be very aware of this as you proceed with your infantile 'protests.'

If you do not like the values of the West

- see the 1st Amendment - you are free to leave. I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option ...

Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.

They're demanding that Wichman be reprimanded and the university impose mandatory diversity training for faculty

and mandate a seminar on hate and discrimination for all freshmen.

Now, the local chapter of CAIR has jumped into the fray .

CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, apparently doesn't believe that the good professor had the right to express his opinion.

Medal of Honor recipient Bud Day Speaks of Torture

I got shot down over N Vietnam in 1967, a Sqdn. Commander. After I returned in 1973..I published 2 books that dealt a lot with "real torture" in Hanoi .. Our make believe president is branding our country as a bunch of torturers when he has no idea what torture is.

As for me, put thru a mock execution because I would not respond... pistol whipped on the head...same event.. Couple of days later... hung by my feet all day. I escaped and a couple of weeks later, I got shot and recaptured. Shot was OK...what happened after was not.

They marched me to a dirty cell..tied me in ropes ...almost pulled my arms out of the sockets. Beat me on the head with a little wooden rod until my eyes were swelled shut, and my unshot, unbroken hand a pulp.

Next day hung me by the arms...re-broke my right wrist...wiped out the nerves in my arms that control the hands...rolled my fingers up into a ball. Only left the slightest movement of my L forefinger. So I started answering with some incredible lies.

Sent me to Hanoi strapped to a barrel of gas in the back of a truck.

Hanoi ..on my knees....rope trick again. Beaten by a big fool..

There was an escape from the annex to the Zoo. I was the Senior Officer of a large building because of escape...they started a mass torture of all commanders.

I think it was July 7, 1969...they started beating me with a car fan belt. In first 2 days I took over 300 strokes...then stopped counting because I never thought I would live thru it.

They continued day-nite torture to get me to confess to a non-existent part in the escape. This went on for at least 3 days. On my knees... fan belting...cut open my scrotum with fan belt stroke. opened up

both knee holes again. My fanny looked like hamburger...I could not lie on my back.

They tortured me into admitting that I was in on the escape...and that my 2 room-mates knew about it.

The next day I denied the lie.

They commenced torturing me again with 3- 6- or 9 strokes of the fan belt every day from about July 11 or 12rh..to 14 October 1969. I continued to refuse to lie about my roommates again.

Now, the point of this is that our make-believe president has declared to the world that we (U.S..) are a bunch of torturers...Thus it will be OK to torture us next time when they catch us...because that is what the U.S. does.

Our make-believe president is a know nothing fool who thinks that pouring a little water on some one's face, or hanging a pair of womens pants over an Arabs head is TORTURE. He is a meathead.

I just talked to MOH holder Leo Thorsness, who was also in my squadron, in jail...as was John McCain...and we agree that McCain does not speak for the POW group when he claims that Al Gharib was torture...or that "water boarding" is torture.

Our president and those fools around him who keep bad mouthing our great country are a disgrace to the United States . Please pass this info on to Sean Hannity. He is free to use it to point out the stupidity of the claims that water boarding...which has no after effect...is torture. If it got the Arab to cough up thestory about how he planned the attack on the twin towers in NYC...hurrah for the guy who poured the water.

Hollywood's Support of Pulanki and Letterman!

What got me most of all was, Whoopi Goldberg’s condescending rant about trying to spin what rape is on the Roman Polanski's case and defending Roman Polanski. I am sick and tired of hearing about these twp-faced spoiled hypocrites, doing whatever they want to and getting away with it.. Regarding Roman Pulanski and David Letterman. I wish that Pulanski could be put away and that Letterman would just go away. I guess that my hatred of these imoral bastards started with Mel Gibson.

Obama Says He Won’t Reduce The Troops in Afghanistan!

Reduce them? I thought that he was supposed to increase them!
Washington - President Obama told Congressional leaders on Tuesday that he would not substantially reduce American forces in Afghanistan or shift the mission to just hunting terrorists there, but he indicated that he remained undecided about the major troop buildup proposed by his commanding general. Meeting with leaders from both parties at the White House, Mr. Obama seemed to be searching for some sort of middle ground. And here I thought the discussion was about placing MORE troops. Now he promises he won't SLASH troops?
So, He won't reduce the troops but he won't increase them either! Talk about playing it safe. Self made political quagmire.
Nancy Pelosi said that such a request would not be well received. Harry Reid said: "Let's just take it easy, don't think we need 100 secretaries of state. I think we should wait and give the president an opportunity to see what he recommends, and then we can dissect that any way we want."
Why are we playing politics here? We are putting the Men and Women that are serving there now in deeper harms way. We are playing with their lives. Is this why you were elected mr. Obama? Is this the "change" you were talking about?
This “war” is ridiculous and sad and dangerous for our troops that are risking their lives for us... We are fighting an enemy with no Tanks, no Bombs, no Daisy Cutters or Airplanes, the President does NOT listen to his Commanding General and this is why it's taking more than twice the time WW2 took? He has no military experience or knowledge about war ,so not listening to those who DO know is just insane. General McChrystal is the real deal, and we should respect him for his decisions, because HE IS THERE! No wonder Obama has only talked to him once in 70 days. Our Dear Leader is a freaken COWARD.
General McChrystal's request and his assessment of what’s going on was dated August 30. Well over a month ago. Since then Obama went to Copenhagen with is cronies and is still on the fence on this most important decision.
Timing is important. A failure to act decisively in response to General McChrystal’s strategy, and his anticipated request for additional forces, could serve to undermine the work of our Armed Forces and our national security.
I’m sick of this crap already. Either win the war or bring our men and women home.
Could it be that he is looking for a War Czar to help with the assessment? Perhaps, Obama has no intention of listening to the General because he wants to change the mission. Who really know what's in the back of his mind. Maybe deep down he really doesn't want to win this war!
Just make a decision. Are we in, or are we out, Mr. President? Get our young men and women out of there and call it done!

Like Congressman Joe Wilson's "You lie", General McChrystal spoke the truth and is now being punished for insufficient deference to Obambi.

Will General McChrystal be the next one to be thrown "under the bus"? I think that he will.
Obama met with his national security team Wednesday but did not make a decision on America's reshaped military strategy for the Afghanistan war. And after 2 weeks the "decision" is still up in the air.
I never thought I'd be saying this BUT! If we are not going to fight this war to win it like we can, I think it is time for us to leave Afghanistan. We should not lose anymore of our blood and treasure in this country. Our troops should be in the US to defend our country. We should not leave out troops out there to be slaughtered if we are not going to support them And by supporting them, I mean give them whatever it takes to have them win this thing and un-tie their hands. Let them fight it to win it. The hell with these "NEW" rules of engagement.
The rules of engagement that I knew was to fight a war to win it by killing the enemy will any and ever means possible.
The Generals are people who have earned their positions and knowledge through years of work, experience and sacrifice. They know how to manage and command people, and are probably a little better at appraising the situation than this buffoon Community Organizer Obama.
The biggest problem with the military today is that the radicals and hippies of the 60&70s are either in the White House or are advising the President on MILITARY matters that they know nothing about. How could they if they were the peace nicks that always protested our military in the first place. Let the Generals, the ones who know what they are doing advise the President and then make up his mind, not the asinine advisers and not the retired Generals who have an ax to grind and who are the BIG Bush haters, and certainly not the Czars!

Obama did not even speak with his top General until he was embarrassed into it and then he had the Gaul to have him fly to Copenhagen and gave him a big 25 minutes, I would bet that the majority of those 25 minutes was spent by Obama bawling out the General for embarrassing him.
General McChrystal has a long and distinguished military career, having done some spectacular operations in Iraq and by accompanying his men on some very dangerous missions, not a very common thing for a General to do. Not by sitting behind a desk. Obama's record, on the other hand... well, he has no record, does he!

There you have it folks, our military is fighting a war, a very dangerous war, they are not playing games. So either fight it to win it or lets call it a day. Obama and his cronies don’t get it!

What Are Obama's Priorities?
Last week it was the discovery of an Iranian nuclear site, possibly to enrich uranium. Also General McChrystal informed President Barack Obama that our mission in Afghanistan was failing and that more troops were desperately needed.
There are American men and women fighting in Afghanistan. They are in harm's way while they wait for President Barack Obama to decide whether or not to send more troops. Obama says, "I'll let you know in a few weeks."
This week Iran fires a long range missile that could definitely hit Israel and some American station abroad.
And where is Obama? And what is Obama saying or doing?

Our Dear leader Barack Hussein Obama is returning the favors to his Cronies in Chicago, he is flying along with another Jumbo Jet full of his friends including Oprah, to Denmark to persuade the Olympic Committee to hold the Olympics in Chicago.
Mr Obama, where are your priorities?
The sooner we can send obama and his freak show back to Chicago, the better for the country.He's incompetent and an embarrassment .He's accomplished nothing but split the country. He's proving to be the nightmare I thought he would be.

The president and the general met on board Air Force One for about 25 minutes at the end of Mr. Obama's roughly five-hour visit to Copenhagen, where he made the case earlier Friday to the International Olympics.

Well how about that. The General flew all the way to Denmark in order to have
a 25 minute chat! Twenty five lousy minutes! Thank goodness. This saves him a trip to Afghanistan and he and Michelle ma belle can have their anniversary in peace.

So Obama and company are going to Denmark to pitch Chicago Olympics! Instead of in Washington where he belongs when there are so many real important issues on the burner.
Personally, I think that this gives the U.S. an unfair advantage over nations whose elected leaders are too busy with official constitutional duties, such as administering their countries.
Oh how I long for the days when the President had a sense of important priorities, like his freaken Healthcare bill, or the fact that Iran is shooting off Missals like the 4th of July, or even the fact that his top General has made a extremely important request for more troops so the the troops that are already there in Afghanistan won't be targets like ducks in a barrel.
Obama has more pressing issues than the skirmish in Afghanistan. Chicago needs the Olympics, so Obama flies to Copenhagen as a pitchman along with two Jumbo Jets full of his entourage including Oprah. . He has time for this yet can't meet with his top general but once? Give me a break. We are losing people over there while Bambi fiddles. We should get out of there now and hit the Taliban and alQaeda using our intelligence. We should be dropping bombs on these a-holes and hitting them daily from the air . If we want to win this thing then fight it like we can, not with our hands tied .
Let's see, the war is going badly in Afghanistan while the decision on the General's request for more troops is deferred, the Iranians are testing missiles, and having secret nuclear facilities discovered, terrorist plots are being popping up like toadstools within our borders, and the President, is going to promote a sporting event for his home town.
Lets be realistic here. If Michelle ma Belle wants the real deal like Carlsberg beer, authentic Danish pastries, seeing the statue of Hans Christian Andersen, them Vunderful, Vunderful, Copenhagen is the place to be.
Our Dear Commander in Chief has spoken only ONCE to General McChrystal in 6 months...and that was a via video conference....that's being involved eh?!? Our troops are getting killed more this year than ever before ...but it's more important to get those Olympics and for Michelle and him and Oprah get to be eating Danish and being treated royally while traveling overseas.
I also want to know why Micelle and company had to leave on a separate flight who is paying for this?
We taxpayers will shell out over $10 million to fly While the Joker and his entourage of 600+ to Copenhagen for a 4-hour visit.

Air Force One, a backup Air Force One, military cargo planes with armored limousines, lots of Secret Service agents, all to lobby the Olympic committee for the 2016 games in Chicago.
With all the options in modern day communications, why does the President have to fly anywhere to “talk” with someone? How many countries have he and family flew to in 9 months? How many vacations did this couple have so far this year and the year is not over yet.?

Can you imagine if George Bush did this? If President Bush had done all this the shrieking of the press whores would be deafening.

I Guess That Michelle Obama Wanted A Danish!

I doubt President Obama’s trip to Copenhagen to argue for Chicago to get the Olympics matters much to the Liberals, but I am certainly MUCHO pissed off about it.
I guess that no one cares about the timing.
Sure, lets just put Afghanistan, Iran's missals , unemployment, healthcare on the back burner and fly off with Oprah Winfrey and others to Denmark this week to promote Chicago’s bid for the Olympic Games. General McCrystal request about saving our Troops lives in Afghanistan can wait.
After all whats more important, a shopping spree for Michelle and Oprah to buy new shoes and taste the delicious Danish or the lives of a few Americans fighting in that hell hole called Afghanistan ?
When General McCrystal made his request about 10-12 days ago, he most of forgotten to say that it was important.
And by the way, this the first time in US history that a sitting president flew off to another country just to promote a city’s bid for the Olympic Games.
Setting priorities is not one of Zippy's strong points.
And why the hell is Oprah going, and are we paying for her as well as the rest of the entourage?

This trip is a classic case of Chicago politics; the pay to play mind-set. While Rome burns, Obama & his entourage, including Valerie Jarrett, are off to Denmark, for an evening in Copenhagen. It is interesting to note that Jarrett ran a company that managed a Chicago slum housing project, so riddled with crime, that it was abandoned, and is now a proposed site for the Olympics. It is a foregone conclusion that if Obama is successful, the contractors involved in building the Olympic venue, will be friends of Obama, Jarrett and Daley. What an arrangement.

Seriously- someone should keep a total of soldiers Kill In Action and wounded while the Messiah tours Copenhagen. General McChrystal's recommendations are ON THE TABLE, Mr. President do your friggin job!

It might have been a good week for the Obama but for the citizens of the US and the world it has been a disaster. He is weakening this country every time he gives a speech to foreigners. We should be opening our arms to the eastern bloc and old Russian satellite countries but instead we're trying to appease Russia, China and the leftists. He accomplished nothing this week and to think otherwise is simple minded. Obama is in way over his head.
Our friends in Eastern Europe feel betrayed, Iran announces they have a second nuclear fuel production facility, Moamar gives a rambling speech which was unintelligible, Chavez and Castro who are ruthless dictators praise Obama, and the Honduran dictator who tried to become president for life announces that he is being attacked by Israeli hitmen and radiowaves from outer space. Then the UN passes some useless unenforceable resolutions which are absolutely meaningless. Overall, I would have to say that Obama has created mess after mess and doesn't have a clue what he is doing.
"A good week for Obama" ... why? Because Qadaffi, Chavez, Ahmadjidenad and Castro love him and Obama turned his back on Poland, Georgia, Israel and UK. New York’s Governor David Paterson ignores pressure from Obama to step aside!

Obama shook hands with Gov. Paterson on the tarmac in Albany Monday and whispered a little something in his ear. (You could bet it wasn't "I Love You" ) But the Governor is still in the doghouse.
So Now we have a President dictating to at least two states whom their Senators and Governors will be.
Obama apparently trying to protect the Democratic party has jumped into state politics and reportedly asked Governor David Paterson to withdraw from New York ’s 2010 governor’s race.
Despite Obama’s request of David Paterson to NOT run in the election for Governor, Paterson isn't giving up his plans to run for the office he inherited 18 months ago from Eliot Spitizer after he was caught with a hooker. Last night Obama tried to pressure Paterson into stepping aside for Andrew Cuomo so that the Democrats would not get swept by the Republicans.. The White House also sent in “The Rev. Al Sharpton” who contacted the Governor about the White House’s concern.

But the brave and defiant Governor said: "My plans for 2010 are to run for Governor of the state of New York," As he marched down 5th Avenue serving as the Grand marshal to the African-American Day Parade in Manhattan. "I am running for office” Obama has just made the dysfunctional New York state Government even worse. Who will pay any attention at all to Gov Patterson now that Obama has made him a lame duck governor? Answer: no one.

Here we go again, it like the Professor Gates thing all over again. Obama putting himself into business that doesn't concern him. Obama has no business inserting himself into New York State politics.
Obama, Rahm and Axelrod know that Paterson can not beat former Rudy Giuliani if they were matched against each other.. . So the next this would be forcing out Paterson and giving him a face saving chance to clear the field for Andrew Cuomo.
Patterson is so far down in poll approval ratings that he has to stand on a ladder to see the results.. Maybe it was the Caroline Kennedy thing or the Hillary Clinton mess. Who knows? But he don’t stand a chance.
Obama won’t want to take the chance of Rudy Giuliani winning and the New York GOP making a come back. And who knows if Giuliani was to win, he might be a big threat to Obama in the 2012 Presidential race.

The weak position of Barack Obama to prostrate America to all countries by taking the position that we are at fault for transgressions against the rest of the world goes along with Reverend Wrights preachings that America got what was coming to it. Yes, Obama fits right in with Reverend Wright and his position. Hence the constant apologizing for America. So I guess his position on 9-11 is that it was America’s fault.

Even worse, President Obama makes cursory attention to 911 and at the same time wants to change the complexion and attention of 911 by changing it to a “Day of Service” to the community. This is no different than what Christianity did by making Jesus Christ’s birthday 12/25/09. No one really knows the actual date of Jesus’ Birthday, but the celebration of that day was intentionally placed near the Pagan, Jewish, and Muslim winter holidays in order to try and decrease attention to those celebrations. It appears this Administration wants us to all forget 911.

As each day goes by it is becoming more apparent that Obama may be president, but he is not in charge. Pelosi seems to be running the country and there does not appear to be anything that Obama can do to stop her. The sad thing is that Obama seems to like things that way. With Pelosi running the country Obama has more time for; vacations, playing golf, having parties every week while many of his constituents are trying to feed their family on food stamps, his ever expanding worldwide apology tour, and now he will chair the UN securtity council. I wonder if he will be as useless as head of the security council as he was when he headed up his Senate committee. Obama has proven that he is a good community organizer and makes a good speech, but his lack of any type of business experience is clearly showing.

It is unbelievable that Pelosi can wield so much power and there is no one who can counter her. She is threatening Obama to keep a public option that the public has soundly rejected. Her actions just reinforce the knowledge that these political figures of both parties vote however their largest donors instruct them to vote, as is evidenced by this bill, cap & trade, the release of Gitmo detainees etc... We need to vote them all out.

This whole argument drives me crazy in the way that Obama , Pelosi, and Reid, continue talking about a "Public option" if you stop to think about it, we already have a public option, in that the public already has the option to chose what, if any health care insurance at all, that they want.
Meaning that the government has the option to decide what if any services you will receive. Now for those of you out there that will sit in the comfort of mommies basement and say, "well sure, thats fine if you can afford your insurance" or something equally stupid. The solution is quite simple! Get out, face the light of day,, get a job, and get a plan that suits your needs, stop being a parasite to the rest of those of us that pay our taxes and play by the rules, like the rest of us working people do.!
The public option is just more welfare entitlements that will be ultimately be paid by tax payers (especially small businesses).

Why, pray tell, does a "simple back to school address" contain "lesson plans"?

It is funny to see them say the Bush the elder and Reagan gave speeches that addressed school children, implying that the speeches were piped into classrooms as Obama's will be. They were not. The were speeches tell the children why it is important for them to stay in school.. They were televised, and parents were able to watch the speech, and those speeches were not played in the schools, with lesson plans given before hand. They were NOT speeches asking little children to think about how they could help the All Mighty Barack Obama! They were not asking the kids to pledge their allegiances to the Messiah To pledge their devotion to a Communist.
I saw the video, where first you hear someone pledging to "end slavery". What slavery? I thought that slavery ended 200 years ago! If he want to pledge to end slavery, let him go back to Africa and talk to the school kids there.
They have famous idiot Hollywood celebrities pledging, I quote: “I pledge to be a servant to President Obama”.
Then your hear Demi Moore and her boy toy pledging to be "servants of the president" This pledge is not only “Brown Shirt” like, it’s cult-like!

I've been all over the world. I hunted the elusive creature in the Santa Cruz Mountains without any luck. A couple of times I spotted Bigfoot, but I paid no attention to him. I was searching for a being much more rare.

Finally, late one afternoon, I caught sight of him through my powerful binoculars. Knowing of his deep aversion to captivity, I spent all night rigging an elaborate trap for my prey. I rolled an old VW bug into the brush and spray-painted it with colorful psychedelic designs. Then I baited the trap with Liberal sprinklings of oregano in the front seat and left the door open.

The next day I watched in deep suspense as I saw him slowly moving towards the trap. When he finally crawled into the front seat, I flicked the switch on the remote control device that shut and locked the door.

With my heart pounding in anticipation, I approached the trap, holding my rifle at the ready. After I reached my destination, I gazed in wonder at the strange sight before me.

He had a long beard and shoulder-length hair over which he wore a floppy leather hat. His attire consisted of bleached-out, flared Levi’s, an old fringe leather vest, sandals, and a guitar strapped around his shoulder. A bottle of flavored water in a leather pouch on his belt. Dangling from his neck were beads and an ancient artifact that I later identified in an old illustrated scroll as being a peace symbol.

I shoved my rifle barrel through a crack at the top of the door window and fired a tranquilizer dart into him as a precautionary measure. His eyes glazed over as he smiled happily.

You wouldn’t know it from the tearful pictures in the newspapers and the constant echo chamber of the mainstream media, but lets face it Ted Kennedy was no hero ,and as we all know far from it.
Ok, we can all agree that Ted Kennedy should rest in peace, I don't begrudge him that but let’s not forget that there was more, much more, to his "legacy." His wrist-slap after Chappaquiddick was the height of hypocrisy. Call a spade a spade. If his last name weren't Kennedy, he would probably have been behind bars a long time ago.
And lets not forget that Ronald Reagan was in Ted Kennedy’s cross hairs as he attempted to arrange a meeting with the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union Yuri Andropov.
In 1983, letter written by the then KGB head Viktor Chebrikov to his boss Yuri Andropov, Chebrikov saying that Kennedy blamed poor American-Soviet relations on Ronald Reagan. According to Chebrikov’s letter, Kennedy said he wanted to stop Reagan’s re-election effort in 1984. This is the American Liberal Lion we are honoring today.
Ted Kenned is/was a liberal Saint, what with two wives, and who lived the life of drunkenness, womanizing, and manslaughter, who else could fit that bill better than him? No Conservative even comes close to getting away with a “resume” like that and still be honored as is his today.

After a party on the island, Senator Edward Kennedy was driving a young staff worker, Mary Jo Kopechne somewhere late that night. He later said he was driving her to her hotel. She had, however, left her hotel key and pocketbook at the party.
Kennedy drove off the bridge to the mainland and plunged the car into the Poucha Pond inlet.Kennedy managed to extricate himself with the car which was filling up with water. He later claimed that he had tried swimming to the car several times. Instead of immediately notifying the police he called a "Kennedy advisor." Kennedy spent the rest of that night huddled with "Kennedy advisors" to come up with a story.
Later, Kennedy and two "Kennedy advisors" went to the scene of the accident and tried to swim to reach the car. None of the men thought they should notify the police. After a party on the island, Senator Edward Kennedy was driving a young staff worker, Mary Jo Kopechne somewhere late that night. He later said he was driving her to her hotel. By the time he presented himself to the police a sobriety test was impossible.The judge at the inquest decided that some of Kennedy's testimony about the events that night were lies. Nevertheless Kennedy was not prosecuted for anything more than leaving the scene of an accident. He got a two-month suspended sentence. Basically a slap on the wrist!

His father, Joseph P. Kennedy, was a professed enemy of the English and devoted his political skills to the downfall of the Empire, even to the detriment of the United States. Luckily, he was recognized for what he was and thrown out of office. His brothers John and Robert were also predatory sexual inadequate, who rose to high office with the help of the Hollywood bunch and the Mob controlled New York and Chicago Mafia.
The elder Joe Kennedy was an evil criminal, and by his standards, Ted is a saint - but by no-one else’s. And surely not mine. Have you entirely forgotten what that cowardly drunken misogynist did??? He murdered a young girl for his career. Sorry, to me he never was anything that even resembled good. The Kennedy use and abuse of the Catholic Church is also unforgivable, but that's another story for another day.
Teddy Kennedy is probably responsible for Obama becoming president even though he did not know him or his background. So we can say that Teddy Kennedy got away with murder..twice!

Ted Kennedy left Mary Jo struggling for her life because HE wanted to save his reputation. He wanted to save HIS marriage, He chased skirts for years causing abuse and emotional harm. He sat is the Senate BECAUSE he was a Kennedy and destroyed many of my freedoms.
Every year we should have a Mary Jo Kopeckni Day...after all, she gave her life so the country wouldn’t have to endure a Ted Kennedy presidency.
God will handle his soul -- but -- I don't like the media, the commentators telling me how I must forgive him, because I don't.
He has spent his adult life living in the lap of luxury while he worked tirelessly to make sure that you and I would never get the chance to experience that luxury. He flaunted his excesses, avoided his moral and governmental responsibilities, and wallowed in his hypocrisy while the people of Massachusetts elected and re-elected him over and over to congress and the senate. He is the poster child for what has gone horribly wrong with American and I for one will not shed a single tear. The only thing that I am pissed off about now is that he will be buried in Arlington along side of so many TRUE American Hero's.

Sarah Palin is jumping into the fray over FOX News talk show host Glenn Beck, whose assertion last month that President Barack Obama is "a racist" led to a boycott of the companies advertising on his show, and ultimately, led some to drop their sponsorship of his show.

Palin on Wednesday had this to say on Facebook, the social networking Web site that, since she stepped down as governor, has been the former Republican vice presidential candidate's main platform for communicating: "FOX News' Glenn Beck is doing an extraordinary job this week walking America behind the scenes of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and outlining who is actually running the White House.

"Monday night he asked us to invite one friend to watch; tonight I invite all my friends to watch."

Palin is referring to Beck's attack this week on the background of Van Jones, who the Los Angeles Times describes as "a White House environmental adviser and co-founder of an African American political advocacy group that organized an advertising boycott of his program."

Y'know the woman's alright! I think she's enjoying jabbing the lefties - I know I'm enjoying seeing her do it, do'ntchaknow. So far, she's picking her targets carefully and well. I would say that she's doing pretty well for a white-trash quitter.
